Azazels

Narrated by Riddle

Our kind are by definition are those who fight in the shadows. Also those who are unknown to the ganta by almost all mortals.

Long ago doesn't say it, instead towards the beginning of life. My ancestor the great Azazel fell in love with a female angel paladin. Their love was allowed by the deities, and they loved each other for a great amount of time. But he fell in battle and it was decided an entirely new angel race would be born.

The angels of death are the angels that help others who are having trouble passing on. We are usually in hospitals waiting for people in pain to pass on. At least, that is what we are supposed to do.

The truth is, we are divided into 3 categories. Gatherers who do what we are supposed to be doing. Rogues are Azazel's who kill our kind and mortals earlier than their time. Because they become more powerful. Finally the category I fall in, which are protectors who watch over gatherers. It's a total chaotic mess that never gets better or easier.

The method of how we know who is stronger is the length of of our hair. Every time a soul is freed or a battle is won, one hair grows a centimeter. And even if an Azazel's hair is 2 feet long that you defeat or kill. It's just 1 centimeter of growth, and that Azazel gets stronger by a bit from each centimeter.

We generally live in churches to rest, it doesn't really matter which faith the church is. We just feel safer in a churches attic. Often we wake up gargoyles to watch the place and keep us company.

We don't eat, sweat or drink, but we do require rest. Can't think of anything else to add at this time.

Narrated by herself

A lot has happened since I came into existence. My mother bore me and I learned to fight at a very young age, for the safety of my kind. Against those of my kind who are wicked enough to kill for power.

My first battle was arranged, but was not in my favor. A rogue who had been killing little Azazel's because he thought they were easy marks. My father needed to know my strength and resolve. I killed this rogue while he tried to strangle me to death. That's when I learned of my duty. Over time my brothers and I rose to fame as protectors.

My style of combat is speed and cleverness. I hunt rogues down where I am told to hunt them. My eldest brother Asia tells me what to do and I do it. Because of that I have very long hair and those who look to me for protection.

Asia also has wished me to find a husband. He hints about it here and there, I trust when I am married. My husband will be good to me and most of all, not slow me down.

Riddle

Mile

Narrated by Himself

After a few days with Riddle, I learned that I wasn't the best of the Protectors. I have been alive for a very long time and I dedicated my life to my trade. I was in the middle of hunting down a long standing enemy. When her brother approached me proposing to marry her. I thought what the hell, I was not in a relationship and she was a celebrity and when I saw her in action. I knew I had a very long way to go.

I get my name from my talents, just like every one else. The best way to describe my gift. Is a combination of a scythe and a sniper rifle. I can sense enemies at a distance, better than right in front of me. Let's say my enemy was a mile away from me. I could shoot a bit of energy from my palm. It would get stronger and faster the further it went. 3 seconds later when it hit it's target, the scythe would be spinning faster than a bullet. Going stronger than a freight train right at its mark. After that the scythe disappears.

I lived in my church for many centuries, caring only to save my kind. I had no close friends, only those who I saved and moved on. The only ones I spoke to were my gargoyles and they were not good at conversations, so I lived my life in silence. Then one day I met a fierce enemy. After that I dedicated a portion of my life to killing them. One might call it an obsession, but I considered it a hobby.

Now I am with one of the great 3, and life seems a little bit more worth while. And I like living with her, more than just protecting gatherers from hunters.
