The 4 Slain
Narrated by Frost
Each of these women have merged with a different artifact. Meadow a wood flute of the forest. Cloud a chain sickle of the sky. Lamp a lantern of florescent fire and Arctic a comb of ice. When they took the risk to merge, they knew the risks and felt they could live through it, thank the deities they were right.
The process was painful and hard, but when they became my four slain. I was well on my way to becoming alpha of the wolf gods with their help.
There was a fifth slain, Trample who wore the shoes of metal. She was more powerful than them, leading them into battle time and time again. However Trample became drunk with power as well as became to cocky. One day she got herself killed, I told her not to fight an opponent. She did anyway and fell in the conflict.
They are called the Slain because they chose that title. In hopes of saying we will slay you, by the time they wanted to change the name it had already stuck.
Cloud
Narrated by Frost
Cloud like the others has served me well in the past. I have nothing but good things to say about her except I wish she'd be on the ground more often. Cloud was gifted with the ability to fly among other talents. When I call for her she comes down out of the sky, but that's usually it for her. If you mean to set her down. She does come down when she wants a man for an evening. However they almost always want to be up in the sky with her.
Cloud can control wind and weather to a great extent. She was named an elite among eelkshie for a reason just like her other 3 sisters. She is one of those who fights groups more than single. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure she could handle anyone that came her way. She just does best when I send her to annihilate entire armies.
Cloud to my knowledge has never been struck by lightning. Though she will bathe in the rain and dry in the sun. Being an eelkshie she doesn't require food or drink. So like I was saying before she rarely comes down.
Her weapons were a gift from Trample the 5th Slain member who didn't survive. Cloud takes Trample's death personally. She wants to hold something from her close to her heart that reminds her of her former leader. And as a reminder that she can't let anymore of her sisters suffer the same fate.
Meadow
Narrated by Frost
She turns more of a mystery to me than anything else. Meadow has served me me with a great military background as well as with loyalty. The mystery about her that I have is her fascination with my cousin Silver. She is older than he is which in itself says a lot about her way as a warrior. He grew up seeing her off and on and I believe they fooled around at some point once or twice. I asked her once if she would want to serve under him. She completely flipped out and screamed at me. Wanting to know what she did to upset me. I never asked her that question again.
Meadow has many gifts, but her favorite is her Medusa gift. She doesn't turn others to stone like your average Medusa user, she turns you to wood. Often or not someone will suggest to her to burn her victim. She responds there really isn't any point to that.
She can turn vines into giant snakes that carry wood venom, you get bit by one of them and survive the bite. Chances are you won't have to much longer before you turn to wood.
Meadow has a flute that she plays for fun and for necessity. Though her vine snakes could listen to her words she controls them with her flute like a snake charmer. It is also said that her song will sooth an angry soul. I've listened to her play it is quite a refreshing noise.
Lamp
Narrated by Frost
You could call her a party girl or a gal that likes to just cut loose and unwind. Lamp is the closest thing this group has to a comic relief. She will often make a sassy comment or remark just for kicks. I personally find her very charming and yes it's true the two of us had a relationship at one point. That was a very big mistake on my part. I became so fearful that something might happen to her to the point that I kept her off the danger area. Finally she stepped up and ended it because she didn't want to be a caged wolf.
Her power is a combination of light and fire, not just one or the other both at the same time. She glows when she uses her power and it is a fright of nature. Anything that glows with her light on it can go up in flames.
Lamp likes to wear black leather a lot. Some say the way she dresses is undignified and inappropriate. She will tell those people to go procreate with themselves. Which is another way to describe her personality. If you challenge her pray you have a solid back argument. I recommend you just leave her alone if you have some kind of problem with her.
Arctic
Narrated by Frost
Her power is ice on a much larger scale than that of a common user. Artic has never been one for doing things on a small scale. When she summons ice there are small mountains of it if you were to clump it together. Her technique for combat is to create multiple story high walls. Which immobilize armies from working together. The walls grow spikes and lesser space becomes available. Until her opponents are bugs on a windshield.
Arctic has a quiet personality, when not in battle she is very docile. Sometimes I worry if she only lives for for the thrill of massacre. I've tried to teach her how to have fun, but she only does what I want her to. An example was a man who was in love with her. On her necklace she would say is it okay to kiss or to mate. The man lost interest after a while and she didn't think twice about it to this day.
Now in battle, Arctic doesn't ask for permission to kill. It's as if a switch goes off in her head telling her it's party time. And all the energy and motive to kill becomes second nature. As if she was my little ice queen with a cold heart.
Red Riding Hood
Narrated by herself
I'm a grim character named little Red Riding Hood, but I just go by Red. I am an elite assassin who protects the name of Traita. The Queen and alpha of the wolf gods.
My upbringing was much more pleasant than most. I was an orphan, a child born from concentrated energy in space. Before I had a chance to get to a planet or moon. A city ship picked me up. On that ship was Queen Traita, the ship belonged to her son.
Everything I wanted or needed I got and I was raised in the art of warfare. Trained by the best teachers and given a life of royalty. It did puzzle me at times why I was treated so well. But after a year my power surfaced.
I have the ability to learn other powers and kinds of magic. The lame name of this gift is Learner. I know I wish it sounded more appropriate for the elite level it's on. I learned most high class elemental spells, fire, water and all the rest of them. I have 2 swords that I can use in duel wield. A sword to kill Infinity beings and if the situation is appropriate, I have a sword to kill Eternity beings.
My outfit is sacred armor. It may look like simple cloth, but it is armor made from the best of the best. A dwarf named Junk, was commissioned by my master to forge deceptive armor. Allowing me to gain the upper hand from being underestimated.
If I were raised on Earth, in most countries, child protective services would go after my master. Because I was brought up to be a emotionless assassin. I never joined girls for ice cream and to talk about boys. All I know and knew how to do was kill my targets in the most effective way possible. Though I did develop a grand ego along the way, who wouldn't?
