Trent

Narrated by Grandma

They are the most basic of grunt creatures of the lost ones. These things only know two things, to hunt and to follow simple orders.

A Trent can come into being in a number of ways, but they first came from defiled soil. Try to imagine evil working it's way in the dirt beneath a fallen tree. The dead plant absorbs the evil and comes to life. Only now it is a grotesque creature that feeds on any kind of life it finds. Other ways Trent's are born is by injecting it's venom into life forms. My favorite way is to make apple pie for youngsters. When they digest it they will slowly become one. And yes there are other ways that it can be done.

Trent's grow apples from the branches on their bodies. The apples give off a scent that is more alluring than gold itself. The apples will turn you into a Trent if you bite into one, but first it will cause you pain and paralyze you.

The strength of one of these beings is greater than a vehicle. If one was on a street and a car was in its path coming the other way. The Trent would flip it on its side and keep on going. So don't think running through a mess of trees and blocking it's path, will help you.

The last detail I will say, is it's Medusa ability to turn others into wood. It's eyes create a light that if seen directly with turn your body into wood. And they will still eat you, wooden or not.

Narrated by Elise

A nasty bunch of animals that specialize in causing pain, chaos and suffering. That's what any follower of Spring and Summer will tell you.

Snags are the opposite of us Treon Maidens, in every way they are the opposite side of our coin. The term for what they are called even means death. On Earth, snag is a word to describe a dead tree that lays on the ground becoming rotten. And they gave themselves their name, thinking it matched their personality just fine.

Sorry for ranting, a snag is a witch born from a dead tree group. If enough dead trees lay in one place and cause decay in the soil. A snag will be born from the rotting wood. When they rise plants in an acre of land will die in every direction to show one has been born.

From a very young age snags learn the intelligence of humans and elves. They learn to speak, write and read. They then take this knowledge and use it for one purpose. To kill forests and bring them to ruin. Also to kill any and everything that live in forests because by doing this they become much more powerful. Treon Maidens like myself find them in groups around a fire dancing and pledging themselves to darkness. Just like witches in human stories to scare children.

The power a single snag has is immense. They look like crusty old women who scare human witches away. They have wrinkly skin and long noses. Dressing in the plants they will soon kill. The snag you should really watch out for is a blue eyed one. Normally their eyes are normal forest colors, but if you see a blue eyed one. You are immediately marked for death.

They are the devil's of Lost, and I hate their kind to my very soul..

Kennel Wasps

Narrated by Queen Garden

They are freaky little sons of bits. The only good things I have to say about them is they don't travel very far from home. And they don't reproduce nearly as much as other bugs.

Kennels carry a seeds in their stinger. What happens is the warrior Kennels will find animals that are healthy and sting them. Once the seed is in, the warrior dies and the blood of the animal fertilizes the seed, then it starts to grow. From the seed comes thorny vines that breach the skin and gives off a scent. Other Kennels are attracted to it and make hives inside. While the animal feels great pain, but lives for months.

Vaccines have been made for these nests, but if the organs have been compromised. The vaccine will kill the animal along with the bugs. Also the vaccine releases a different scent that drives Kennels away.

I was made aware of them when I visited a clinic. A woman elf had been stung and had thorn vines sticking out of her arm. The only way to stop the spread was to remove her arm. I granted her a bag of coffins, which was all I could do for her at the time.

Kennels have high resistance to fire and the elements. If they had a front row seat to a shot of fire. They would cook like paper, but if the flame is only hitting skin they will survive.

Last thing, they are easily recognized because of the scary face on their lower section. If you see one of these bugs, the best thing to do if you don't have a vaccine. Is to amputate the section stung. If you don't act quickly your hesitation may cost you your life.
