The word eelkshie is an ancient name for great soldier. A warrior equal to intelligence and skill of a general in a mortal army. It is a great honor to be chosen by a master and few have reason to turn down the offer.
The ceremony of becoming an eelkshie is to share a life force trait. 95% of the time it's a blood pact by cutting palms or cutting the tongue and kissing. If an eelkshie dies the master will feel a great pain. That's like as bad as a tooth ache. If the master dies the soldier feels like a drill going into the root of a tooth.
Those whose masters die or betray them, go on living a great shame. If the soldier is branded the title of exile . They live a life of ultimate dishonor.
I have a great amount of eelkshie that are rising in power all the time. It took a lot of me just to baptize one. When I took them all under my service. I made 67 which is a very unusual number to work with. Most masters have 12 or less and have no need for more.
The mark of eelkshie gives immortality from aging, fast healing. Also amplified strength and reflexes, in physical and unique abilities. In other words perfecting, perfect soldiers.
