Mojo

Narrated by Usagi

Her name means blind or something like that, I have a close bond with this girl. I delivered her myself during a hell of a blizzard one afternoon. Mojo came into being and even though she couldn't see, I could sense greatness.

Her parents attempted to get her out of Mountain territory to live as good a life as she could. Mojo enjoyed being the center of attention for a couple days, then she demanded to learn combat. This isn't some super hero bit where her other senses were heightened from a chemical or rock. No Mojo worked herself to death to be a blind sword.

When my little brother awarded her the rank of general for her services. Her face lit up with joy because she had done her family proud. Her joy only got better as she hunted down high priority targets, one after another. It became her purpose in life to be the best and serve as the best. She lived for these targets to be silenced, and it makes others think she is a little crazy.

Her power even has a scary definition. She can turn frozen water into acid. Also she can manipulate it's movements to a certain degree.

That was then and this is now. My clan really messed her over. She was forced into a marriage she didn't want to be in and then told to kill her husband. After she had learned to love him, my brother would have me beaten for saying this. Mojo did not deserve to be put on Judgments list my brother deserved it far more than her.

Now that she is a wolf, the day will come when I cross swords with her. And I know I can't beat her, I only hope she doesn't start hunting Rabbits one by one for sport

The day I came into the world my mother knew I would become a great leader. My older sister who was already being bred to lead the Rabbit Clan, stepped aside. She was proud that there was a male born into the family. In fact she was so proud she didn't even protest to being the one to groom me into power.

There are some that say I have made stupid decisions, I disagree. Ruler's do not make stupid decisions, they make errors. The thing I did with Mojo, was not stupid, I weeded out a potential enemy from my ranks. The choice I made when I selected my wife, that was brilliance not stupidly. Now those who challenge me on this, those are stupid decisions.

When I was a boy, I went through a lot of drama, my sister, my clan and my general. My sister was very over protective until I decided to start leading the clan. I felt she thought of me as a threat after that happened. My clan continue to this day to question the wisdom of turning on Mojo. I tell them it had to be done. She committed treason and she needed to be punished in the worst way possible.

My weapon of choice is a long curved sword. I have yet to find an equal to my skill...

The day I came into the world, was a day in the middle of a battle. My mother was delivering me while our camp was attacked. The nurse on staff helping me along the way, took an arrow to the head. Some may think my birth at that time would be a bad omen. But my father took it as a sign that I would be a great warrior. Especially since I was born with a priestess sign on my forehead.

I learned quickly that it was a kill or be killed world and it was a hard lesson. Over the many years of life I have lost close friends and dear family. My little brother who is to be the next king of Rabbit I guarded more carefully than any other. I didn't over shadow him in my opinion, even though he makes mistakes.

It was the day of my first battle when I was 36. I had perfected many priestess spells. My father had me in the back of the army as support. When that battle went ill against Bear, my power surfaced. A rush of icy wind came from my body and even though we are used to the cold. Almost all of our enemy froze to death in minutes. My father saw that I was a predator who could not be tamed. That was the last battle I fought in the shadow of the army.

My rabbit that has been with me for many years and is my 4th rabbit. A Kitsune will easily outlive their pet, and it is sad when your friend dies. I can say with a straight face, all my rabbits went peacefully and did not die in war.

Wolf’s Elite 4

Mizore

Narrated by Mojo

She is terrifying to have as an enemy, but also heart warming to have as a big sister. During my years of training with the wolf clan, Mizore was always looking out for me. Often my food reserves would be stolen or my things would go missing. While that happened Mizore made sure I didn't go hungry and that I got my items needed for daily life. She even delivered my children and helped keep them safe on that terrible night.

Her power is to make others go faster while she touches them. Naturally a horse would be the best companion for someone in her shoes. Her other powers are the blade to cut through most metals and materials. The other is a healing ability that came with her mark.

Yes she does have the mark of a priestess on her forehead, but she is as much a saint as a bear with rabies. I have seen her kill others for handing her the wrong meat spice. That was a scary day for her though.

Her horse is named Rushmore and that is the name every one of her horses gets. These excellent creatures are cared for on the highest tear. No one even has guts to accidentally spook her horse because of what Mizore would do to them.

Kason

Narrated by Mojo

When I met him I knew he was like me, in the ways of being blind. The things he said would have been obvious to anyone who was blind. That being said, he was kind to me despite the fact that he was a fallen monk.

Kason followed the ways of the shrine and temple for a number of years. He worked there with a shrine maiden, keeping the place clean and such. She was a daughter to him not a lover and he cared for her. Then one day he was venting his excess power and came back to the shrine. Finding her dead and the valuables stolen, it was at that moment something clicked in his head. It is a marvel that he tracked them down with his disability, but he got them all.

Wolf found him half buried in the snow pleading to the goddess Inari to let him die. Next thing he knew he woke up in a bed with a woman keeping him warm. King Riki offered him a position as one of the 4 and Kason said why not.

His power is hard to describe. His body is like a buffer that stores excess energy. If it stores for too long his body starts to fail. Which is why every so often he creates a blizzard on a high scale to vent what he doesn't use.

In times of war he is essential to have in a fight, when he has a bunch of power built up. This power can manifest in methods of strength and speed. Big sister told me once he cracked a mountain with his fist.

Like I said Kason has always been kind to me. I wonder if it's because I remind him of that shrine maiden whom he loved like a father.

Of all the kitsune in the Wolf clan, even of the 4, Ayana is the one I'm most afraid of. She has this aura about her that makes my stomach turn to rot. I don't have a reason to not be around her other than she is never happy. I've never known her to laugh or take joy in anything. Not even when she has killed her target, she won't get excited.

Ayana is the ranger and long distance combat user of the 4. She has a bow that was fused with ice magic, the design of the bow is not told. Her powers draw on sniping and speed. I've been hunting with her before. She took out 3 elk in the time it takes another archer get an arrow from their quiver. Also the bow transfers the magic to the arrows, causing them to freeze what they touch.

Mizore once told me about how Ayana may not feel safe to be around. But she told me that she would trust no one else more to watch her back. Mizore's wolf had fallen in a hunters trap and while she getting its leg out. A group of Leopard clan hunters gathered around her. Mizore was not afraid, she knew she could kill them all. But as she readied to take her marks. Arrows rained down hitting each guy in the neck and none came near her or her wolf.

As for men in her life, she will often bed a random clan member for something to do. She has never gotten pregnant in the time that I have known her. But she would not make the best mother, I fear what kind of children she would bring up.

Kenji made an offer once for her to be his woman. She flat out refused his offer telling him she had no interest in marrying a king. Because she didn't want to be stuck with such responsibility. Any other woman might get beheaded for doing what she did. Kenji was afraid she might kill him for making the proposal.

Yeah, there are many reasons to be afraid of this woman. My reason is my stomach hurts when I'm around her for a long period...

Ayana

Koyuki

Narrated by Mojo

A deranged murdering psychopath who found himself in the Wolf clan before somewhere else. When he was a little guy, he was traveling in a group of rogue Bear clan members. Oddly enough the Bears didn't find them first. Fox found them and mercilessly attacked the party. Koyuki was alive under his mother's body when he woke up. Getting up and seeing the massacre of all he knew made something in his head snap.

He came across Wolf as a man and attacked the hunting party without thought or reason. He was subdued and brought before the 3 Kings. Who were just lads at the time. Riki wanted to know if Koyuki wanted a clan to call home. The butcher was like yeah, why not.

His weapon is a hammer made mostly of wood that makes some doubt it's might. Yes one could chop it in two pieces with a metal sword. But you would need the metal weapon to be sharp enough and the wielder to be strong enough. Also there is the problem of defending against it. From what I have heard he swings that thing as fast as I swing one middle sword.

Koyuki doesn't have a power or unique ability, he is just a simple blood thirsty guy. Who grew skills of combat like second nature, and no sense of being moral.

I have had a unique encounter with him once that I prefer my husband not know of. I fell through a sheet of ice while I was with Koyuki. He got me out of the bellow freezing water then stripped off my clothing to save my life. At one point in the chaos I slipped into a coma, when I came out of it I was between the two wolves. He had lit a fire and was watching to make sure I didn't die. The thoughts of he must of seen everything didn't even register in my mind. What I was thinking was why did he care enough to save my life.

I always think back on that day, when I am alone with him. He rarely brings it up because it was a sign of affection I believe. Still I know I can trust him to watch my back.
